Avocado Tartar Sauce

Avocado Tartar Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup 0% Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1 Tbs Champagne or White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Tsp. Grainy Mustard
  • 1 Tbs. Capers rinsed, drained, and patted dry
  • 2 Tbs. Cornichons finely chopped
  • 1 Tbs. Fresh Dill finely chopped
  • I Tbs. Shallot finely chopped

Assembly:

  1. Peel, seed, and chop avocado.

  2. Place in bowl of food processor with yogurt.

  3. Process until smooth and creamy.

  4. Add remaining ingredients.

  5. Process until well combined but not pureed.
Delicious served with your favourite fresh seafood or combined with fresh hand peeled shrimp and diced avocado for an avocado shrimp salad. Can also be used as a condiment for sandwiches.
